As most of you know that the Muslims of Gaza are being slaughtred. Universities and even Masjids are being bombed. From they air the Muslims are being bombed by the [Israelis] and from the back they are being shot at by the Egyption soldiers

INNOCENT PEOPLE ARE BEING KILLED – CHILDREN, WOMEN, THE OLD, INNOCENT MEN……….WHY????
WHERE ARE THOSE OF THIS WORLD WHO HAVE PLEDGED TO PROTECT? ARE WE HUMAN OR ARE WE ANIMALS? WHAT ARE WE THINKING? WHERE IS OUR COMPASSION? ISRAEL HAS DENIED, FOR VERY LONG TIME, EVEN BASIC HUMAN NEEDS TO THE PEOPLE OF GAZA BY BLOCKADES...NOTHING COULD GO IN NOR COME OUT!! AND WHEN GAZA RETALIATES AGAINST THIS OUTRIGHT CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY, THEN THIS ATROCITY IS ALLOWD TO GO ON!!

Since you have spoken up about the Gazans who are being killed beacuse of the Israeli air strikes and the egyptians (also muslims) attempt at keeping the refugees out of their territory, why dont you also dig out some information on the people who died in Israel during the constant missile attacks that the Hamas had been carrying out in the past month from within the Gaza area?

Pinku ji - We are not impartial and do not try to be. We are appalled and angered at the blockade of Gaza that has denied the people of Gaza food, water, medicine and power. Israel has imposed this blockade. We partially blame the Egyptians since they have closed their border to the Gazans at this time.
ReplyDeleteI do not believe that human life can be measured by arithmetic, so I won't compare the 6 Israelis killed to the over 300 Gazans killed in air attacks recently.
Let me ask, if you were locked in without the necessities of life, would you not fight back in any way you could?
I understand this is an old fight between the two old enemies that can be traced back to Sarah and Hagar, to Ishmael and Isaac. We are not going to settle it here.
And I don't really care who is to blame this time. I merely want this inhumanity - of which Israel does have the upper hand right now - to cease.
As a mother whose only child was killed from a similar kind of hate, I just want the killing to stop. I do not hate Jews or Muslims, Israelis or Palestinians. I do hate injustice and atrocities. The death of an Israeli is as painful as the death of a Gazan. Violent death is painful.
I remember an old Jewish saying, "It is always better to be the oppressor than to be the oppressed."
I know neither side is likely to act rationally. I do not know the solution to this problem. I do know that killing innocent civilians will solve nothing.
