Gentlemen may cry, Peace, Peace--but there is no peace. The war is actually begun! The next gale that sweeps from the north will bring to our ears the clash of resounding arms! Our brethren are already in the field! Why stand we here idle? What is it that gentlemen wish? What would they have? Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!
Yes indeed wouldn't it be boring if we were all the same colored creed :) The divine has given us so much variety to enjoy!!!

ReplyDeleteIt is definitely cool that we are not cookie-cutter clones of one another.
This salad makes me think of the difference between a cultural melting pot and a cultural salad bowl.
When I think of colours - of creeds or anything else - I think of birds and fish in the old song
"Like a fish in the water,
Like a bird in the air."
Completely different context, I know.
I think the ability to see colour (with or without the u) is one of the great gifts Akaal Purakh has given us.
