There has been so much blood and gore, and sadness and heartbreak in this blog that I feel when there is really joyful news, it must be twice as wonderful.
I think of the song L'Chaim from Fiddler on the Roof
God would like us to be joyful
Even when our hearts lie panting on the
floor;
How much more should we be joyful,
When there's really something
to be joyful for!
And what are we joyful for? A brand new grandbaby! Born April 20, 2007. Seven pounds, one ounce (born in the USA, hence the pound/ounces nonsense.) I am so happy, I'm literally jumping up and down!! We wish everything wondeful for little Ethan.
Congratulations! Sounds like a very healthy little baby. Best wishes and joy to you and your family...and your wonderful new addition to your family!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Matt!! I actually got to see him and hold him on Sunday. I guess everyone knows that the Gramma would see that he is perfect in everyway.
ReplyDeleteHappy, happy, happy!!
