22 April 2007

There has been so much blood and gore, and sadness and heartbreak in this blog that I feel when there is really joyful news, it must be twice as wonderful.

I think of the song L'Chaim from Fiddler on the Roof
God would like us to be joyful
Even when our hearts lie panting on the
How much more should we be joyful,
When there's really something
to be joyful for!

And what are we joyful for? A brand new grandbaby! Born April 20, 2007. Seven pounds, one ounce (born in the USA, hence the pound/ounces nonsense.) I am so happy, I'm literally jumping up and down!! We wish everything wondeful for little Ethan.

  1. Congratulations! Sounds like a very healthy little baby. Best wishes and joy to you and your family...and your wonderful new addition to your family!

  2. Thanks, Matt!! I actually got to see him and hold him on Sunday. I guess everyone knows that the Gramma would see that he is perfect in everyway.

    Happy, happy, happy!!
    Mai, the gramma
    Suni, the great aunt
    Vini, the honourary great gramma

  3. Thank you, CK Ji,

We are still as happy as happy can be.

And still jumping up an down!
