  1. With due respect to the Indian Shaheed Bhagat Singh jee, what Sikhs got for the last sixty years - from British slavery to the Hindus slavery except few families who have been rejoicing their slavery for their own selfish interest.

Such issues are kept alive to confuse the Sikhs so that they may not think about their Freedom within UN Charter. We continue to remain divided into different factions/groups/cults/sects but do not follow Gurus' Teachings.
    With best wishes,

  2. Dear Gurmit Singh Ji,

Vaheguru ji ka khalsa! Vaheguru ji ki fateh!

We are not sure what you are refering to as 'such issues.'

However,we are in 100% agreement with you. The condition of the Sikhs of East Punjab has been reduced to nothing short of slavery to Hindus. The only difference is between the 'house slaves' in positions of influence, wealth and power, and the vast majority of 'field slaves' who feel the brunt of the injustice.

We have a suggestion. Why not put our differences and divsions aside for a while, establish our homeland where we will live in peace, freedom and dignity - and then decide if we would rather stay united or go back to our squabbling?

Let us get back to Guru Ji and live as Sikhs of the Guru!

Chardi Kala and Gurfateh to all!

  3. Do any of you realize how stupid the notion of Khalistan is? Thousands of Sikhs have been killed due to this movement and still we have not learned our lesson? Do you realize there are many cultures indented in our nation which I am proud to call India. Do you realize the choas that would be caused if every single one of these cultures/races wanted to separate from India? These cultures and races makes India a unique country and gives us our identity. To remove this notion towards a free Punjab, we need to call ourselves Indians before we consider ourselves Punjabis. How can you bring Bhagat Singh into this? He sacrificed his life for a free India not a free Punjab. Even our gurus sacrificed their lives to not just protect our wonderful religion but to protect the Hindus aswell, one major thing in khalistan movement was to drive out the Hindus, this is directly going against our founder's wishes. I am Punjabi, but an Indian first, hopefully we all can get this engraved in our hearts.

  4. Dear Vjsingh ji - You are most cvertainly entitled to your opinion. In fact, until about 24.5 years ago, I thought Khalistan was a strupid idea thought up by a few Khalsa with too much testosterone. Stumbling over the dead bodies of the people I loved best killed in the Delhi Pogrom changed my mind.

India is not and has never been a single country. It is a conglomeration glued together by the British for their own convenience. It will fall apart, whether you or I want it or not. It is best to be prepared.

  5. U mother fuckers !!

What is Khalistan ? What is a Sikh ? Remember, By keeping a beard and wearing a turban, does not make you a sikh !!!

Sikh is the one, who, follows what was said by gurus ! Gurus never talked of a seperate nation ! A Sikh is the one who protect other, Mun Niva, Mutt Uchi, Saab da rakha oh AAp Waheguru, WJKK WJKF

  6. Dear Anonymous ji:

Vaheguru ji ka khalsa! Vaheguru ji ki fateh!!

OMG, such language is really not necessary. You would get much more respect from me if you had the courage to sign your name. Whatever else a Sikh may be s/he is not a coward.

I agree, beard and turban - or rather kes and turban, since most women do not have beards - do not make a Sikh. I usually put it this way: "It takes more than a turban and a Singh or Kaur somewhere in your name to make you a Sikh."

Technically, of course, the SRM tells us:

    The Definition of Sikh :

    Article I
Any human being who faithfully believes in
    i. One Immortal Being,
ii. Ten Gurus, from Guru Nanak Sahib to Guru Gobind Singh Sahib,
    iii. The Guru Granth Sahib,
iv. The utterances and teachings of the ten Gurus and
    v. the baptism bequeathed by the tenth Guru, and who does not owe allegiance to any other religion, is a Sikh

On other topics we can have disagreements. I have never believed that one has to be a Khalistani to be a Sikh (In this I disagree with Sant Bhindranwale Ji.) I believe there is room in Sikhi for a variety of opinions. What there is not room for are people who are so stuck in their own ideas that they cannot listen to those with other ideas. Listen, and then consider whether such ideas are Panthic - not whether you disagree or not - before implying someone is not a real Sikh.

Just as a matter of interest, since you declare that

Gurus never talked of a seperate nation !

do you also condemn Maharaj Ranjit Singh and the Sikh Empire?

  7. And, let me add, my dear sister/brother in Spain - This blog concerns itself with many topics other than Khalistan. Have you read about our experiences in 1984? That is the heart and soul of what this blog is all about. Those posts explain how and why we came to support Khalistan. I am not interested in changing your opinion on this; perhaps, however, it would be useful for you to understand the circumstances that brought us to this conclusion. Perhaps - without changing your mind - you might grow a bit and learn a bit.
