W3I :JUST FOR LAUGHS

WARNING: Any Bharata Mata (BM) Lover, should probably skip this post and go do something else.

Most of my W3I (What's Wrong With India?) posts are dead serious. This one is a little more light-hearted.
In my exploration of all sorts of things on the Internet, I came across the preamble to the Constitution of India.

I read it. Then I read it again. Liberte, equalite, fraternite. It seems to have borrowed something from the French. As I am 3/8 French, I appreciate that. As for India being a secular state, I have decided to modify the flag of the Republic of India to show her true "secularism."

THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA

PREAMBLE

WE, THE PEOPLE OF INDIA, having solemnly resolved to constitute India into a SOVEREIGN SOCIALIST SECULAR DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC and to secure to all its citizens:

JUSTICE, social, economic and political;
LIBERTY of thought, expression, belief, faith and worship;
EQUALITY of status and of opportunity; and to promote among them all

FRATERNITY assuring the dignity of the individual and the unity and integrity of the Nation;

IN OUR CONSTITUENT ASSEMBLY this twenty-sixth day of
November, 1949, do HEREBY ADOPT, ENACT AND GIVE TO
OURSELVES THIS CONSTITUTION.

  1. You're either not in touch with Indian politics, or very close minded. Indian politics is all about Muslim and Christian appeasement, Hindus get the short end of the stick.

  2. Dear Anonymous,

    I am merely a Sikh woman whose nuclear family was wiped out by Hindu thugs sent by the Indian government to kill us. The Christians and Muslims who also seem to keep getting killed off by Hindu thugs..It seems to me that the religious minorities of India keep getting slaughtered by Hindu thugs, generally sent by the brahmin thugs who run the country.

    I see.. when did this happen? Because I'm pretty sure that I can give you proof that the killers of your family weren't Hindus..

  4. Dear Anonymous ji. Proof? That would be during the Delhi Pogrom on either 3 Nov 1984 or 4 Nov 1984.

    Why no name?

    Everyone lost someone in 1984 it seems.. Now while I can't give you absolute proof that it wasn't Hindus who killed your nuclear family (because I obviously wasn't there when it happened) I can tell you that any of the people attacking and murdering Sikhs were incited by the Congress government. And guess what? Congress has always been against Hindus, keep that in mind..

    Now we turn to the BJP, the party that openly criticized Congress and Indira Gandhi. They undermined both the party and their leader, simultaneously they won elections and support of not just Hindus but Sikhs.

  6. If you were in Congress' place after Indira Gandhi's bodyguards (very stupidly) murdered her what would you do? You would see it as an opportunity to undermine the Hindu-Sikh political unity created by the BJP. So they send out their "brahmin thugs" to encourage the "Hindu thugs" to go kill and loot.

    But first let me tell you about Hindus. There were no Hindus in those mobs or any mobs that target Sikhs. Why would a brother go after another brother? Anyone calling themselves Hindu in the mobs on those days and nights were as Hindu as Babbar and Aurangzeb.

    This being a blog run by a Khalisthan-wala the topic would of course turn to 1984..

  7. Oh, and no name because I know better than that..

  8. Dear Anonymous ji,

    OK, I see your logic. Fair enough. It depends on how you define "Hindu." Just as I would say that no Sikh could use a kirpan to torture anyone. Then it's just a knife, and he's not a Sikh.

    Actually, this has evolved into a blog about Khalistan. The original purpose was to tell about what happened to us three Khalsa women in 1984. The blog title refers how we came to believe that Khalistan is necessary.

    And Beant Singh and Satwant Singh killed her not just out of a sense of justice, but also the stop Operation Shanti, scheduled to begin very soon.

    No name? That's up to you. I'm just curious if you're a particular person that your style reminds me of. That's OK; I don't need to know.

  10. Have you ever heard the expression, "My mind's made up; don't bother me with the facts"?

  11. Well, india has its fair share of religious fanatics, be it Hindus, Muslims, Sikh, Christians, etc. What we have to realize is that they easily manipulate the general public into blind faith.The violence is the end result of all this.The most surprising thing being that even the "educated" lot are falling prey to all this! We should not label a whole community for the mistakes of one.
    This is a great blog for an open minded discussion where the fingers should be pointed at the real culprits. Being a hindu i know who is that here...the most prominent being VHP.
    Frankly i feel that the whole khalistan concept now will just breed further communal hatred, even among ppl who didnt have anything to do with the initial communal tension, but who are against the whole division on the basis of religion.

  12. Dear Most Recent Anonymous ji,

    I'm not sure what you mean by religious fanatic. I have been called that along with a host of other names, such as extremist, fundamentalist, radical, moderate, wuss and a few obscene ones I'll leave to your imagination. Oh, yes, and, of course, terrorist.

    I have the feeling you have a lot more to say. If you'd like to write a guest post, here, I invite you to do so. Except for editing anything illegal or obscene (which you wouldn't write anyway, eh?) I would post it unedited, with only a disclaimer that these are the opinion of the author, not me. But I would expect you to use your name.

    I've made this offer numerous times; no one has ever taken me up on it. Will you be the first?
